I have a beautiful saucer Magnolia tree outside my front window. Each Spring she produces more and more blooms and is a showstopper in the neighbourhood. One of my favourites to paint, I love the boldness of size and the delicate veins visible in the petals. Contasts of pinks, pale reds and greens make this set unique and strong. Mixed media with watercolour, gouache, pigment and pen and ink on handmade St. Armand paper in Montreal.
