Painted from a bouquet I collected from the wildflowers growing in the fields of Puglia. With Spring just emerging, the brightest red Poppies were abundant with Mimosa trees, Daisies of every description and wild blue Irises a plenty. A mixed media piece with watercolour, gouache, pigment and pen and ink.
